Deutsche Telekom revamped and re-branded its television offering to MagentaTV. I designed their new mobile, Smart TV and Apple TV video apps, helping them to grow by 3.5% to reach 3.7 million subscribers.
MagentaTV currently offers more than 300 TV channels, series and movies on demand, as well as catchup programming service
Feature-based growth strategy
Magenta TV also allows its TV subscribers to access Netflix. The latest research underlined Netflix’s increasing sway in the German market, overtaking Sky, with 5.1 million customers compared with Sky’s 4.8 million.
Additionally, it has features like cast video to the TV,media library, recordings & downloads, 14 days TV guide, restart & timeshift programs and Films or TV shows renting or buying.
